
Veggie Dumplings! The great thing is you can put in WHATEVER YOU LIKE! Just season the veggies up with your favorite spices and herbs. I used: Green cabbage, vidalia and spring onions, yam, portabella mushrooms, ginger root, sea salt, pepper, hot madras curry powder, regular curry powder, Spring roll and dumpling wrappers. Chop your veggies, toss it together and season it. Cook your yams in a little water, curry and pepper for about 7 minutes. Place spring roll wrapper on a dry surface positioned like a diamond. Put a teaspoon of the mix on your Spring Roll and roll the bottom corner away from you. Fold in left and then right corners and then take a little water on your finger to seal it closed. Fry it in canola, palm or coconut oil or steam and eat! Do the same with your dumpling except, put a little water on your finger and wipe it around the INNER perimeter of the dumpling; this will help you to seal it! Fold it in half and pleat the edges together. After steaming your dumplings in a bamboo steamer pan fry it with a teaspoon of oil. You only fry one side, but do as you like!!! You get extra points if you MAKE YOUR PLEATS PRETTY!!! :D On my plate are yams and GINGER BEANS! String beans with ginger, onions, mushrooms, soy sauce and Jasmati Rice. LOVE YOU! I JUST DO!!!!
