There is a lot out there in terms of losing weight. there are a lot of fads and gimmicks and flat out WRONG INFORMATION. I am sharing with you what I have learned on this weight loss journey. I have been dealing with 4 herniated discs in my neck. In doing so, I have been taking Prednisone, a steroid that causes weight gain, "moon face", water retention and a host of other unwanted side effects. I take 10mg of Prednisone 3x a day and have been doing so since June 2008. I say this to let you know that now only am I over weight, but I was able to lose weight while taking Prednisone, which many find almost imppossible to do. But I say this, to let you know weight loss is possible, but you must change your thinking about food, understand what they are putting into the food source and all that has worked for me. What I do IS NOT a gimmick and it is a way of life. That is the probelm with most diets and gimmicks, they are not something that you can do every day of your life, thus many people fail. I look fforward to stopping the steroids in January 2013 and having the weight be able to come off without Prednisone compromising my efforts. My ways of losing weight are tried and tested after MANY FAILED ATTEMPTS. But that is because I did not know how. There was so much I did not understand and more I am acquiring to make this journey a success. You can watch my other videos and find nutritional meals. NOTE - I am a strict vegetarian and 3 years ago I would have said NOW AY" to becoming a vegetarian, but I didn't know or understand the possibilities until I learned, tried, tasted and observed more about the what was available to me. I had to open up to trying the "NEW" to be able to let go of the "OLD" ways and many unhealthy ways of eating. It's a lot of information, so I have broken it up into 3 parts. I hope it helps you and know that I am here to help!
