There is no getting around living healthy, losing weight and having a healthy intestinal tract. It's called a life a L-I-F-E-S-T-Y-L-E CHANGE. Learning the best foods to eat to start and maintain a weight loss program is paramount and this learning curve is necessary to prevent the weight from returning. Many claim to know what works or even how weight is gained and the information they provide is often incomplete and flawed. I am speaking from what I am living at this very moment. I have come from 265lbs down to197lbs, back to 218lbs (from the steroids that I was taking) and I am back down to 206lbs, even when taking steroids I was able to lose the weight with adjustments that I will share with you, if you in fact have been taking prescription steroids. My goal is 165, but wherever my weight stops is up to my body. PATIENCE, CONSISTENCY, KNOWLEDGE and above all a diet filled with green leafy veggies, colorful fruits, veggies, nuts, legumes and beans and a limit on cooked starch is the safest and most reliable way. But you must be patient. Most of us did not gain our weight a a month or two. We've gained weight over many years and it may take as long to lose the weight. Many feel you are not being productive by losing a couple of pounds a month. THIS IS YOUR LIFE, NOT THEIRS and the mission, goal and journey belong to you and you owe it to yourself to stay the course, learn and investigate the foods you eat and discover new and delicious foods to eat. Don't listen when people say, "Well you gotta eat something." There are HUNDREDS OF THINGS TO EAT that will keep you healthy, promote healthy weight loss and maintenance of a healthy weight, without eating things you should not! Statements like, "You gotta eat something" just means they are trying to justify eating foods that are not good for any of us. Let them do what they please, but you remain smart and on course and do the right thing! You can't go wrong doing what's right!
